He was preceded in death by one son, James Deeter Jr., his parents, Finis and Della Deeter, one sister, Frances McCabe and one brother, Derwin Deeter. Survivors include his wife, Billie Corzine Deeter; four sons, Larry Deeter of Sherwood and Eddie, Dennis and Ronald Deeter, all of North Little Rock; one daughter, Donna Elmuhor of North Little Rock; and two sisters, Carol Perry and Frieda Linz of North Little Rock.
